South Shore Garden ClubFounded and federated in 1952. Our luncheon
meetings start at 12:00 noon, followed by a business meeting. Programs
held on flower arranging, wreaths, gardening, garden therapy, and
horticulture. We participate in the June Art Show and September
Celebration at the Conference House park, support the 9/11 Healing
Garden, District I activities and flower shows, and the St. Paul's
Festival. Our group has been serving the Staten Island community in
civic concern and improvement for the past 58 years. We have
coordinated and supported a Downs Syndrome Garden in Pleasant Plains
for 15 years. New members are welcome.
