Our club was founded in 1939. Meetings are held at All Saints Episcopal Church at Victory Blvd. and Wooley Avenue on the second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm. Our monthly programs consist of guest speakers on topics including conservation, recycling, composting, herbs and herb gardens, floral designing and horticulture as well as trips. We participate in several community projects including the maintaining of the Blue Star By-Way Memorial Garden at Ft. Wadsworth, and the Manresa 9/11 and All Saints 9/11 Gardens. Members offer in-school programs on the environment at local Staten Island schools and with scout troops. We support District One projects including the annual District Flower Show, Arbor Day & Earth Day activities, St. Paul's Flower Festival and attending the Philadelphia Flower Show and NJ Home & Garden Show.
